Obviously when you register a domain name or a hosting account we
need you to provide name, address, email address and phone numbers.
Other than for the continued support and management of your account we
will not contact you unless you have shown interest in other specific
products or services that we provide.
As we operate many other online stores and websites, from time to time it is quite possible that you may end up on more than one of our customer lists. We have automatic filters in place to try and prevent duplicates but it can occasionally happen, normally when you have more than one email address and you have joined our list multiple times using different email addresses.
Should you ever wish to know what information we have on file for you, simply email a request to support.
All our email opt in forms feature "double opt in" - this is a
process which is in place to protect us both. It prevents someone else
using your email address to sign you up to our services without your
knowledge. When you first fill out an opt in form an email is
automatically sent to the address that was just provided. It contains a
time sensitive clickable link to confirm that you do indeed want to hear
from us.
If someone else had used your address without having access to your
email account, they would be unable to confirm.
When you both opt in and confirm your details the date, time and your IP address are recorded. This safeguards us against false spam complaints and also enables us to remind you when and how you signed up, if you have forgotten.
